Harriniva
Perched on the banks of the Muonio River, this simple yet cosy wilderness hotel comprises 64 comfortable rooms, some with private saunas, whose wood-cabin aesthetic is pure Scandinavia. It's also a convenient base for exploring the very best of the region's wild remotes, with activities ranging from husky sledding to Northern Lights safaris, and, in summer, hikes under the midnight sun.

Hetta
A quaint village in the far north of Finland, Hetta is a perfect example of a True Lapland experience and a perfect base from which to go in search of the real Father Christmas. Hetta's surroundings consist of miles of snowcapped forest draped along the side of the stunning frozen Lake Ounasjärvi. The vast wilderness that encircles Hetta has been home to the indigenous Sámi people for generations, and because of this area's lack of commercialisation, many Sámi families are still resident.

Inari
Inari is the largest municipality in Finland and one of the most international tourism destinations. Inari is located in the northernmost corner of the European Union, in the middle of the Northern Polar Cap. It covers 5 percent of the total surface area in Finland.

Jeris
Jeris really encapsulates Finnish Lapland with its snowy forests, frozen lakes and winter fells. We always think of it as being like a haven with its relaxing atmosphere and slower pace of life. With easy access from Kittilä and Enontekio Airports, it is always a favourite with our guests many of whom return year after year for their annual fix of all things Lappish.

Karesuando
Karesuando is a twin village located on both sides of the border between Sweden and Finland (Karesuvanto) with a population of just over 1,000. Situated approx 300km north of the Arctic Circle and located amid majestic, undisturbed and imposing scenery, Karesuando is home to Sweden's most northerly church. The village is set on the edge of a vast wilderness where beauty, nature and wildlife abound. From the hill Kaare-vaara you have a fantastic view of Sweden,Finland, Norway and the mountain Pältsa.

Kilpisjarvi
Perched at the northernmost tip of Lapland, Kilpisjarvi is a remote village steeped in time-old legends and epic sagas. Once home to roaming giants who forged the landscape in their fearless pursuits, this bewildering place is now the perfect location from which to embark on a search for Santa: with myths and magic prevalent, it is no wonder the real Father Christmas is rumoured to have settled nearby.

Kuusamo
Kuusamo is nearby Ruka’s more peaceful sibling – nature takes a front seat in this place, whether you’re talking scenery or activities. Walking trails weave through forests of snow-smothered pines and vast frozen lakes. Or, if you want to spend some time indoors, you can visit the Hannu Hautala Nature Photography Centre. This exhibition hall’s the first of its kind in Finland, and showcases some seriously impressive pictures.

Levi
Levi is our most popular Lapland resort with good reason. In recent years its infrastructure has been developed to an enviably high standard with an impressive range of accommodation and a wide choice of excellent restaurants and cosy bars. Its ski area is regarded as the best and most extensive in Finland and offers snow-sure, uncrowded skiing in an area of exceptional natural beauty. This pristine winter wonderland of snow-sculpted forests and glistening frozen lakes offers an extensive choice of activities including exhilarating husky, reindeer and snowmobile safaris.

Luosto
The picturesque ski village of Luosto is set above the Arctic Circle, 90 mins' north of Rovaniemi. Set on the edge of the Pyhä-Luosto National Park or as we like to call it "Santa's forest home". Luosto is engulfed by natural beauty - frozen lakes, snow covered fells and frosty forests make this a place fit for Santa's magic.

Northern Lights Village - Levi
Northern Lights Village is located deep in the quiet wilderness of the Sirkka region, 16km from the centre of Levi and 32km from Kittila airport.
250km north of the Arctic Circle, the area you’ll be staying in is a vast expanse of pristine pine forest that is home to bears, golden eagles, wolverines, and thousands of reindeer.

Ranua
Located around 4km from the small town of Ranua, the Gulo Gulo Holiday Village takes its name from the Latin word for Wolverine, one of Finland’s rare native animals and is an ideal family base. The wildlife theme continues throughout due to the accommodation’s proximity to the Ranua Wildlife Park which guests have unlimited access to throughout their stay.

Saariselka
Located in the wild mystical north of Lapland, close to Russia and just a few hours from the Arctic Ocean, Saariselkä is an exceptionally friendly uncommercialised resort with a unique frontier atmosphere. With magnificent Arctic wilderness scenery just on the doorstep, it makes an ideal resort for an all-round winter wonderland adventure. The skies are often a deep hue of pink and purple, the pine trees heavily laden with snow, and being so far north there is a good possibility of seeing the Northern Lights too.
