Tunturi Hotel Suites

Tunturi Hotel Suites are part of the wonderfully atmospheric Tunturi Hotel complex with its cosy wood-panelled public areas and popular restaurants. The hotel enjoys a peaceful setting 200m from the village centre, next to the start of the cross-country ski tracks. Suites are in 4 separate buildings up to 200m from the hotel main reception building and restaurants. The ski bus stops outside.

Types of Studio & Suites: All have twin bedrooms plus a sofa bed in living room that sleeps 1 adult or 2 small children (no sofa in studios). 


  • 1-room Studio, 25m² (A2) can sleep 1-2 people in 1 twin bedroom and facilities as stated above (maximum 2 adults)

  • 2-room Suite, 40m² (B4) can sleep 2-4 people, with the layout being 1 twin bedroom and a 120cm wide sofa-bed in living room that sleeps 1 adult or 2 small children (Max 3 adults)

  • 3-room Suite, 69m²-79m² (C6) can sleep 2-6 people in 2 twin bedrooms plus 120cm wide sofa-bed in living room (Max 5 adults)

  • 4-room Suite, 68m²-98m² (D8) can sleep 4-8 people in 3 twin bedrooms plus 120cm wide sofa-bed in living room. Max 7 adults

Holiday Club Spa Hotel

Located right in the heart of Saariselkä, this popular spa hotel offers a high standard of accommodation and an impressive range of facilities, including a fabulous indoor pool complex. The resort ski bus conveniently stops just outside. The property's main attraction is its extensive indoor swimming pool and sauna complex, with waterslide, massage jets and children's pool. The hotel's public areas including restaurant and pool area have been newly renovated.

Hotel Tunturi - Gielas Wing

The luxury Gielas Hotel offers highly recommended deluxe rooms and junior suites, which are located in the deluxe wing of the Tunturi Hotel. The Gielas building offers it's own fireside lounge, bar and a la carte restaurant. The whole property enjoys a peaceful setting, just 250m from the village centre and a few steps to the cross-country ski tracks. The Tunturi main building, with the main reception and restaurant, is a wonderfully atmospheric hotel with cosy wood-panelled public areas and good food. Tunturi Hotel is only 100m from the Gielas and the ski bus stops outside.

Top Star Arctic Glass Cube

Experience the wilderness and beauty of untouched Lappish landscape whilst sleeping under the stars in one of these unique Top Star Arctic Glass Cubes. Thoughtfully placed away from light pollution and each having their own heated panoramic glass wall and ceiling, these cabins provide some of the best views of the snowy fell as well as some unmissable opportunities to see the Northern Lights. (Although you take your meals at the Star Arctic hotel the Glass Cubes are a separate accommodation.)

These Glass Cubes have a everything you need in a unified space. The kitchen area is well equipped with a stove-top oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster and kettle. There is a sleeping area with a separate bathroom plus a living space with a sofa-bed that can sleep an additional two people (one adult or two children up to 13yrs). There is also a sauna and an outdoor terrace.

They'll create a comfortable space for you and your family to sit back and relax, spend quality time together or explore the snowy wilderness that's only a few steps from your door.

Rooms

Kuukkeli superior suite is about 52m2 and sleep 2-4 people. This cabin has one bedroom with a twin beds and sliding door that leads to the open plan kitchen and living room area. The lounge also has a sofa bed which can sleep an additional two people. The bathroom has a shower and two person whirl-pool. The cabin also has it's own dedicated hour-long slot in the communal house sauna (timings advised on arrival).


Kuukkeli hirvas suite is about 80m2 and can sleep 4-6 people. This end of terrace cabin has two twin bedrooms. There is an open plan kitchen and living room area that has a sofa bed which can sleep an additional two people. Facilities include a toilet, separate shower room and private sauna.


Kuukkeli premium suite is about 133m2 and can sleep 4-6 people. This cabin has one bedroom and and alcove separated from the living area by a curtain, both with twin beds - the larger bedroom has a private en-suite. There is an open plan kitchen and living room area that has a sofa bed (140x210cm) which can sleep an additional two people. There is a central shower room with access to two showers and a separate third toilet. This cabin benefits from it's own private sauna which provides access to the outdoor terrace with a 5 person whirl-pool.
