Spend the New Year in the unique setting of the Arctic Circle, while enjoying a holiday full of challenging snow-based activities.


Lapland Arctic Adventure is a perfect post-Christmas holiday and with great flight times (you leave at around 10 am and on return land at 7 pm) you're sure to make the most of your time in Lapland.


Luosto and Pyha are set within the National Park and are fabulous places to experience all that Lapland has to offer.


Enjoy a special dinner on New Year's Eve, followed by an after-party in Luosto.


Will the Aurora Borealis grace the sky as the clock strikes twelve?.



Exciting Excursions Await You in Pyha and Luosto

A range of traditional Arctic activities are included in the of this amazing tour.


From an energising snow shoe hike around Pyha and Luosto Fells that lasts up to 90 minutes, to a leisurely reindeer sleigh ride, to a thrilling husky safari and an exhilarating 3 hours (approx) snowmobile safari through the Lappish wilderness.



Optional Excursions

There will also be a variety of optional excursions for you to enjoy while in resort, at your leisure.


Optional excursions can be pre-booked or reserved while in Luosto or Pyha.


The variety of excursions in Luosto and Pyha include Ice Karting, Cross Country Skiing, Ice Climbing, Snow Sculpting and Ice Fishing (subject to availability, additional charges apply).


You can also upgrade your package to include half-board dining at the Luostotunturi Hotel or the A La Carte restaurant Vaisko in Luosto, A half-board package is also available in Pyha. Please ask one of our experts for prices and further details.



After the Activities of the Day

In the evening you can relax at the Luostonhovi Bar and Restaurant if staying in Luosto; here you can enjoy an apr�s-ski or apr�s-safari drink and a bite to eat.


In Pyha there is a lovely bar at the Pyha Hotel and also at Huttuhippu Restaurant.

Luostotunturi Hotel

The Luostotunturi is a charming hotel, which is centrally located for all the amenities that this magical resort has to offer. Built in the shape of a Lappish Reindeer earmarking, the building truly compliments its natural surroundings.

The hotel provides a selection of well-appointed en-suite twin-bedded rooms and super family rooms, a number of which sleep up to 5 people. We also have a number of contemporary style suites which have the added bonus of their own lounge, kitchenette and a traditional Finnish sauna. A number of the rooms have a balcony or terrace with views across the snowy landscape towards the majestic Fells.

After spending a wonderful day experiencing the wealth of traditional Arctic activities that Luosto has to offer; in the evening, enjoy a swim in the The Amethyst Spa Pool, or relax and unwind at the hotel bar prior to dinner in the Buffet Restaurant.

Twin Bedrooms

The twin-bedded guest rooms are very comfortable and well furnished throughout.  Each bedroom has an with en-suite shower room.  In addition, there is a sitting area with 2-seater sofa, TV with satellite channels, tea/coffee-making facilities, telephone, hairdryer, desk, mini-bar/fridge and a very handy drying cupboard. Complementary access to the Amethyst Spa swimming pool. Free WIFI.


Family Bedrooms

The family rooms at the Luostotunturi Hotel have twin beds plus a convertible double sofa bed. These rooms are ideal for families with young chidren and they sleep up to 4 people. Each room has an en-suite shower room, TV with satellite channels, telephone, tea/coffee-making facilities, hairdryer and mini-bar/fridge.  The drying cupboard is really useful for refreshing snow suits, gloves etc. at the end of the days activities. Complementary access to the Amethyst Spa swimming pool. Free WIFI.


Duplex Family Bedrooms

Duplex Rooms sleep up to 5 people. These rooms provide additional space, which is especially useful for families with older children.  There are twin beds at the ground floor level and an upper loft/mezzanine floor with three extra single mattress-style beds. The loft area is accessed via a staircase, which is securely gated, and it's ideally suited to children age 4 and above. Naturally, there is an ensuite shower room, TV, telephone, tea/coffee-making facilities, drying cupboard, hairdryer and mini-bar/fridge. Free WIFI, plus complementary access to the Amethyst Spa Pool.


Amethyst Suites

The Amethyst Suites have views of the natural fell landscape. They are attractively furnished throughout and very contemporary. The Amethyst Suites have 2 bedrooms, plus a 2-seater sofa bed in the lounge, sleeping 4-6 people with ease.  You also have all the mod cons for a relaxing stay including a shower room, sauna, fully equipped kitchenette, telephone, TV, hairdryer & clothes drying cabinet. Free WIFI and of course, access to the Amethyst Spa Pool. The Amethyst Suites are ideal for families travelling with grandparents. They are also a great alternative to staying in a cabin, especially if you prefer to be centrally located in Luosto.


Tunturi Suites

A Tunturi Suite is a spacious, bright & attractively furnished suite with a balcony overlooking the winter wonderland of the Luosto fells. The Tunturi Suite is delightful accommodation for couples or friends staying in Luosto for the New Year Arctic Adventure tour.  It is also very suitable for families on our Santa short breaks, who are looking for hotel accommodation with extra facilities.  The Suite sleeps between 2-4 people and comprises 1 bedroom, plus a lounge with double sofa bed.  There is an en-suite shower room, sauna, a fully equipped kitchenette, telephone, TV, hair dryer and clothes drying cabinet.  Complementary use of the Amethyst Spa Pool and free WIFI.

Deluxe Luosto Villas

The Deluxe Villas are situated close to the ski slope in Luosto and under a 10 min walk to the hotel and local restaurants. This accommodation is has been built to the highest specification and sleeps up to 10 people. So it's perfect for small groups and families wishing to celebrate Christmas or New Year in a house party style.

The Luosto Villas have 4 comfortable bedrooms and 2 lounges (one with log fire) in which to relax and share stories of your adventures with the huskies and reindeer during your holiday in Luosto.

4 Bedroom Deluxe Luosto Villa

This stylish two-storey Villa boasts a contemporary interior, befitting Scandi design.  The attractive bedrooms include a master double bedroom with en-suite Jacuzzi bath.  In addition,  there are 3 further bedrooms: 2 twin-bedded rooms, and a cosy bedroom with a small double bed and a fold-away single chair bed.  There are 2 attractive lounges where you can relax, one with a cosy log fire, and a double sofa bed. The Deluxe Luosto Villas also feature a spacious sauna area with shower facilities, and a large, fully equipped kitchen with comfortable seating.


Subject to availability, customers staying a Villa may use the pool at the Luostotunturi Hotel, a charge is payable locally.

Pyha Hotel

Pyha Hotel is an excellent choice of accommodation situated conveniently within the centre of the ski village. It features a selection of 2/3 person rooms and also offers a small number of family rooms, which can accommodate 4 people. The restaurant and bar are of a high standard and the perfect place to take in the views overlooking the frosty fells. A true Winter wonderland.

The restful Family bedrooms at the Pyhä Hotel sleep up to 4 people.  Staying at the Pyhä Hotel is particularly recommended for families with children under the age of 4 years. The Panorama Suite features a comfortable separate bedroom with twin beds. Pyha Log Cabins

When holidaying in Lapland one of the best experiences has to be staying in a beautiful log cabin. In Pyhä, we have a range of cabins, that are simply brimming over with character and their setting amidst the trees laden with snow creates the perfect ambience for your adventures in Lapland. Pyhä Log Cabins are around 10-15 mins walk from the centre of the resort and the restaurants.

Room Types

Open Plan Cabins

The Pyhä Log Cabins are furnished to a good standard and inspired by traditional Scandi design. All of the the cabins are open-plan & they are ideal for families with children age 4 and above.


The majority of the cabins sleep between 3-6 people comfortably.  No two log cabins are alike and some will be furnished with either double or twin beds.  In addition, some cabins have bunk beds (very Lappish in style) or single beds in a loft area, which is accessed by a paddle/ladder staircase that is secured with a gate at the top.


Your cosy Pyhä log cabin includes a shower room with Finnish sauna, a fully equipped kitchenette, TV, drying cupboard and a sitting area with log fire.  A perfect spot to relax in the evening after the festivities of the day.
