The Aurora Cabins have a half-glass roof and all face north. The design is based on the traditional wooden kotas (teepees) of Finland and has been specifically created for the village.

Each cabin has twin beds (which can be made into a double) and a sofa bed, suitable for an additional adult. There is a shower room (with underfloor heating) and a toilet, as well as a luggage storage area. Tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a minibar are also included.

The Davvi Arctic Lodge is a charming, simple hotel set on a quiet, secluded hillside in the border-village of Karesuando. ‘Idyllic’ is the best word to describe the Levi Cabins. These wooden huts are set on the outskirts of Levi, and are surrounded by snow drift-deluged countryside and dense woodland. Inside, the cabins are as cosy as they come. They’re wood-panelled and full of comfortable furnishings like rugs and plump sofas. Plus, fireplaces and saunas come as standard in each one. Set in woodland on the edge of Levi | 200m from the ski bus stop and close to the slopes, with runs for all abilities | Levi village is 2.5km away with a selection of bars, shops and restaurants easily reachable by taxi

These excellent quality log cabins are in a scenic wooded location close to the village centre. All are beautifully appointed with extensive use of Nordic pine, modern appliances and a really homely atmosphere. The cabins are a 3-6 minutes' walk (300-600m) to the village centre and excellent supermarket. The ski bus stops approximately 2 minutes' walk (150m) away.

The Tundrea cabins and apartments offer a choice of timber-built accommodation which is quintessentially Lapland. Tundrea is tucked away at the foot of the Saana Fell – arguably the most iconic fell mountain in Lapland – and sits at the banks of Lake Kilpisjarvi, offering sweeping panoramic views of the Arctic tundra.

* Tundrea also features a lakeside hot tub, for which reservations and payment can be made locally. Meal times are often staggered during December to avoid congestion in the restaurant.

The hotel has several modern, semi-detached winter cottages, which are located a short walk away from the main hotel building, amongst the trees (approximately 400-500 metres).

Meals are served in the main hotel building and linen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included.

Full pool access is provided for guests throughout. Pool towels can be rented poolside for approximately €6 or guests can simply use the towels from their accommodation.


For larger families, there is also a selection of two-bedroom apartments available, which can fit up to six people, with a sofa bed accommodating two children or one adult. The apartments are decorated in a similar style to the cottages and have the same amenities, plus an extra toilet.

Hotel facilities

One of the main attractions for families is the wonderful pool area. The pool complex includes a 45-metre water slide, a pool for young children, a waterfall, water jet massage stations, two hot tubs and a resistance current river. There is also a wonderful sauna complex to enjoy

The hotel is connected to the Angry Birds Activity Park, which is a huge hit with families

Breakfast is served at the hotel and usually consist of a buffet of international cuisine with some Finnish options for guests to try

The hotel has three restaurants and so if you want something outside of your inclusive meals you can try Café Piazza, the Mango Restaurant or the Sports Bar which offer a variety of snacks and food

There is a small shop in the main reception area which sells tea and coffee, as well as other snacks and drinks
