Itinerary

Arrive in Rovaniemi
Once you touch down in Rovaniemi, you’ll be kitted out with your snow clothes before Santa’s elves whisk you off to your hotel where you’ll have the rest of the day to explore.

Elf School & Meet Santa
Festive fun’s the focus today – you’ll be meeting up with Santa and graduating from elf school. Plus, you’ll have your tasters – a short trip on a snowmobile and a husky ride are both in store before trying your hand at tobogganing. Lunch is included, too, unless you’re staying at the Hotel Winter Wonderland – you’ll have your meal at your hotel instead.

Free Time/Festive Finale
You’ve got free time today, so there’s time to build some snowmen or take a look around your local town. Or, you can book an extra TUI experience, just make sure you book it before you go so you don’t risk missing out. If you’re on a three-night trip, you’ll hand your thermals back in before your festive meal this evening – it’ll take place in a dining room that’s decked out with banquet tables and Christmas decorations. Alternatively, if you’re on a four-night trip, you’ll have more free time this evening to do as you’d like.

Fly Home/Festive Finale
It’s time to head home today if you’re on a three-night trip. If your departure time allows, you’ll make a stop at Santa Claus Village where you can shop for souvenirs and pay a visit to Santa’s main post office. Those staying for four nights will have a day of free time to explore. It’s also time to hand your thermal clothing back in today, before heading for your Christmas-heavy festive finale.

Fly Home
It’s home time today for those on a four-night trip – depending on your flight time you’ll make a stop off at Santa Claus Village before your flight. It’s where you can visit Santa’s main post office and send your own letter, or order an official one which Santa will post out before Christmas.

Rovaniemi
Rovaniemi is the capital of Finnish Lapland. It’s a small, compact city that comes with a real buzz of modern shopping malls, lively bars and restaurants serving up everything from traditional cooking to French cuisine. It’s also got the rather big draw of having Santa Claus on hand – not to mention Arctic wilderness that’s perfect for snowsports and sleigh rides. It’s Christmas all year round at Santa Claus Village, about 8 kilometres north of Rovaniemi on the Arctic Circle. It’s a novelty to send greetings from the Post Office here, and there’s the chance to learn about the history of Christmas traditions.
